Cooler Master’s new tiny case for Raspberry Pi 4 keeps things cool.
Cooler Master has a reputation for supplying a large assortment of cases. Everything from big to small is in their product lines. But now it’s smallest case is about to make the Raspberry Pi 4 nice and cool. The new case is set to debut within a few days over on Kickstarter.
It’s official name is Pi Case 40, and its small size is designed to house a Raspberry Pi mini PC and keep it cool. “Right out of the box, the Pi Case 40 allows for greater CPU speeds and lower temperatures thanks to its aluminum core in direct contact with the processor,” Cooler Master explains.
You can think of the new case as a hybrid case/heatsink, and one that is silent since there are no fans are movables in it. Too bad you can’t add a sealed blue ice pack to it to make things even cooler.
How well does it actually work? The verdict is still out. We hope to review it in the near future.
