A new subscription service and Beta are waiting for Dual Universe players coming in August 2020.
On August 27, Novaquark’s sci-fi MMO Dual Universe will be going beta. To join the fun, go over to the game’s official website and sign-up. The game is currently in the Alpha testing stage with no invite needed. All you have to do is purchase a key for either $60USD, $120USD, or $180USD. Unfortunately, the key doesn’t secure your entrance into the beta – once the beta concludes and the game goes live, they intend to roll-out their new subscription based model.
Getting in at the Alpha stage does come with some rewards. You’ll get multiple keys to pass around to friends *cough* *cough* as well as pets, outfits and a few other tidbits.
Inside word is that the subscriptions aren’t that bad. They start off at $6.99USD for a month. There will be range of different available subscriptions. For example, the 3-month plan goes for $20.97USD, a six-month for $38.45USD, and the annual subscription for $69.90USD.
The game has been in production for roughly over 4 years and the beta is supposed to be fully playable. It’s said that the developers listened a lot to what the community was saying and suggesting about the game and many of those have worked their way into the game.
