If you’re old enough to remember this little gem then congrats. You’ve been around the block a few times. If you remember it because you had one – then you’re among the blessed. This week marks the Walkman’s 41 anniversary of the TPS-L2, a metal cased, blue and silver hunk of a thing that sold more than 30,000 units in the first 2 months alone. It eventually sold over 200 million units to cassette loving fans worldwide. You may not have known but it was in production all the way until 2010.
